Product overview
XTC MDMA Pil Punisher 240MG: One Stamp, Three Different Doses
- Pack: Loose tab
- Category: Stimulants
- Availability: In stock
The Punisher appears three times in this catalogue alone, at 200 milligrams, at 240 and at 250, in two different colours. That is three products carrying one name. If this were a press name describing a recipe for ecstasy tablets, this would be impossible.
What it actually tells you
A stamp is a die pressed into powder. Dies are bought, copied and reused. There is no impediment to two separate and unconnected tablet pressing operations using the same die. The name of a batch of ecstasy tablets is used by the seller to differentiate between batches. The name does not change regardless of the dose of MDMA in the tablets, their colour and the origin of those tablets.
Where 240 milligrams sits
DIMS measured the average MDMA content of ecstasy pills on the Dutch market in 2023 at 138mg. The middle half of the market measured between 117 and 163mg. A product that claims 240mg is roughly one and three quarter times the average content of ecstasy on the Dutch market. Such a product is outside the normal range of content. For reference, the pill that triggered a DIMS Red Alert in December 2023 averaged over 300mg of MDMA.
How pills reach the market
They made up 58% of everything submitted to DIMS in 2023 at an average of 4.10 euro each.
The advantages people report
DIMS claims that the drug leads to a sense of intimacy, energy and euphoria. The EU Drugs Agency notes these effects too, but also states that users often report heightened sensory awareness of the drug, and that it has a mild central stimulating effect. The terms empathogenic and entactogenic were coined to describe the socialising effect of the drug.

Common questions
If three pills share a name, are they related?
Not necessarily. These could be from two batches of the same operation or even batches from different operations but using the same die to stamp the pills. There is no distinction between these pills from the name of the pills. There is no requirement placed upon the seller to reserve a name for a specific recipe.
Why do press names exist at all?
These labels are for stock. The seller needs a way of referring to one batch of pills as opposed to another. The recognition of these stamps is valuable in itself, which is why specific stamp designs for pills become popular.
Does a higher number mean a better pill?
It means that the claimed dose is larger, which is not the same thing. The dose stated is unverified. For MDMA, a larger dose increases the risks, specifically hyperthermia, rather than doing anything to enhance the effects of MDMA.
