Can you take lorazepam and temazepam together?
Only if the prescriber has arranged it. Both drugs are benzodiazepines and their effects add together. The sedation and unsteadiness will be stronger than from either drug alone. That is how people take two at once and become more impaired than they realise.
What happens if you stop temazepam suddenly?
Temazepam should not be stopped abruptly. After regular nightly use, stopping causes sleep to get worse over several nights. This is known as rebound insomnia and it often comes with anxiety. The dose should be gradually reduced according to a plan established with the prescribing doctor.
How do you come off temazepam?
The dose is lowered gradually over a period established by the prescriber. Each dose is taken for a while before lowering it again. Sleep may be worse for a few nights after a reduction. This is to be expected and is not a reason to stop the taper.
